Catching up with the Mythgard Academy class on Dante’s Inferno, when one of Prof. Olsen’s glosses sounded suddenly familiar.

Dante Alighieri, 1320:

Can those who lie within the sepulchers
be seen? The lids—in fact—have all been lifted;
no guardian is watching over them.”
